Public descriptionCes données proviennent de comptages visuels en plongée (UVC : Underwater Visual Census) de poissons récifaux réalisés en Nouvelle-Calédonie. Elles ont été collectées de 1988 à 2005 et couvrent la plupart des récifs coralliens de Nouvelle-Calédonie. Les comptages n’ont été réalisés qu’une fois sur la plupart des sites, sauf pour le lagon Sud-Ouest où plusieurs stations ont été échantillonnées tous les mois pendant 1 an ou tous les trimestres pendant près de 3 ans.
