Editing: Annotated list of observed birds in W and Pendjari Reserves in Benin, February 2010

Public Description
Annotated list of birds observed around ponds, waterfalls, rivers and other areas inside W and Pendjari Reserves in Benin from 3 to 17 february 2010. The data were entered from litterature written by Dowsett-Lemarre Françoise and Dowsett J. Robert after an inventory in the two parks. The textual location where each bird was observed was described, and allow the digitization team to georeference the occurrences. The scientific names provided in the book were submitted to ITIS Taxonomic match tool to obtain the accepted name and the parent name. The non matches names were checked online in the Ecncyclopedia of life. The names, as written by the author were stored in the field ScientificName, while the accepted name were stored in acceptedNameUsage.
